/ Düsseldorf—Erkrath

9 February 2020, MTA

Erkrath lies just outside Duesseldorf and it is the home town of our partner agency—Schlasse GmbH. Fun fact: it’s here, in the Neandertal valley (the valley is named after Joachim Neander, a 17th century pastor whose last name means “a new man”), where the Neandertal 1, a 40,000-year old type specimen fossil of the species Homo neanderthalensis was found in 1856. We were not that much interested in the past. We were mainly focusing on the future and especially on the communications, with the prevailing presence of the new media. This was the hot topic for most of our presentations.
