From the 18th to 20th November we all met in Seville, the capital city of the Spanish Andalusia region. We were welcomed by almost Arctic chill which didn’t take its toll on us only thanks to the warm welcome we received from our hosts. This year it was our GCN partner—Plataforma agency which has offices in Madrid, Almeria, Granada, Malaga and Seville.
As always, the case-study presentations, delivered by all the agencies, was something everyone had been looking for the most. The presentations’ conclusions focused mainly on the growing integration of traditional media with on-line tools.
Another important item on this year’s agenda was the summary of activities which we carried out, as part of GCN, for KUHN who had implemented a new communications strategy. It had been presented during the previous year’s GCN meeting in Toulouse by the French agency, Hickory, who provides marketing services to the KUHN’s headquarters in France. We had been tasked with the adaptation of the existing campaign to the Polish market.
Apart from that—changes! We have a new member—an Italian agency, TheOthers, represented by Luc Bourdon (previously of L’espiritHB). We’ve also launched the new GCN website: www.go-gcn.com and we have a new motto: GCN. Extending your reach. Our offer is addressed to clients entering new markets in Europe and in the USA or to those who look for a partner providing international marketing communications services.
